A few questions answered:
Material
These pots are made with Saint John's Clay, a clay local to Collegeville, Minnesota, and brought to the Saint John's Pottery by the studio's founder and Director, Richard Bresnahan, in 1979. It's a medium range stoneware clay that also provides us with iron stones used for making underglaze and slip. The entire studio staff contributes to taking this clay from freshly-dug to wheel-ready.
The glazes are made with plant ashes: primarily wood, bean straw and grass. Each glaze highlights some of the unique characteristics and minerologies of each type of plant ash.
Studio
The work in this shop was all made at the Saint John's Pottery, whose community, ethos and materials made it all possible.

Shipping
Orders ship every Tuesday, unless otherwise noted, using USPS 3-4 day shipping. Pottery ordered on a Tuesday may be shipped that day or the following week.
Care
All the pottery is food safe, microwave safe and meant to be used. We hope you use and enjoy it often.
While the pottery is technically dishwasher safe, I recommend hand washing, as most dishwashers cause things to rattle, which can lead to breakage.
Returns
Returns are accepted for pieces that arrive to you damaged, and a refund will be issued.
If you wish to make a return of undamaged pottery, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
If returned items arrive damaged, a refund will not be possible, so if you're going to make a return, please pack with great care.
